
Chuck Ream completed his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude and earned two additional degrees from the University of Michigan. He taught public school kindergarten for 33 years and is a licensed professional counselor.
He was elected for five 4 year terms as a Scio Township trustee, centering his focus on land preservation. Upon retiring from teaching, he led the victorious 2004 campaign for medical marijuana in Ann Arbor. In 2006 he led the defeat of a $314 million tax package for a huge new county jail. Now he works to “accept the essence“ and “reject the excess“ in Ann Arbor‘s proposed new comprehensive plan.
